Questions
Before you ask
- What is Last Light of Eremor?
- A fantasy online RPG played from a locked top-down camera, built around three ideas: the night is real, your hero stays in the world when you leave, and every road is walked. It is in development, and the beta is how it grows.
- What does it cost?
- The beta is free. If that ever changes, you will hear it here and by e-mail first, and nothing you made in the beta is taken away for it.
- How do I get in?
- Register with your e-mail address. We open access in waves; when yours opens, we e-mail you the download. You sign in to the game with the same address.
- Why is there no password?
- Every sign-in is a six-digit code sent to your address, so there is no password to leak or forget. The game remembers your PC for sixty days.
- Which platforms?
- Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit, for now.
- Where is the world hosted?
- The beta's world runs in Australia. Your account is global: it is not tied to one world, and every world Eremor opens will know it.
- Can I play with friends?
- Yes. The night is meant to be shared: parties, guilds, friends and chat are in, and a torch-bearer is worth a lot after dark.
- Is there an age limit?
- The game asks your birth date once. Players under 16 can play, with chat protections on that they cannot turn off.
- Windows says it protected my PC.
- The game is not code-signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. A signed launcher is on its way.
- I found a bug.
- Press F8 in the game: the report goes straight to us with what we need to find it.
- How do I delete my account?
- Write to support@eremor.com from your address. We remove the account and everything tied to it.
